AIMS and SCOPE


Journal of Pediatric Infection is the official, scientific, open access publication organ of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization Association of Turkey and is published quarterly in March, June, September and December. Moreover, an additional issue is published for the National Pediatric Infectious Diseases Congress. The aim of the Journal of Pediatric Infection is to publish scientifically high-quality research articles in the field of pediatric health and diseases. Additionally, review articles, original research, editor opinion, letters to the editor, case reports, and instructive manuscripts (what is your diagnosis?, routines, question-answer, clinical tips, news on world literature). The Journal, whose language is Turkish and English, is an independent, unbiased and double-blind peer-reviewed journal.

Journal of Pediatric Infection is indexed in Web of Sciences, Emerging Sources Citation Index, CINAHL, Turkey Citation Index, and Turkish Medical Index of TUBITAK/ULAKBIM. The editorial and publication processes of the journal are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal is in conformity with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (doaj.org/bestpractice).

Publishing Policy
Processing and publication of the journal are free of charge. No fees are requested from the authors at any point throughout the evaluation and publication process. All manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system, which is available at www.cocukenfeksiyon.org. Journal guidelines, technical information, and the required forms are available on the journal’s web page. Statements or opinions expressed in the manuscripts published in the journal reflect the views of the author(s) and not the opinions of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization Association, editors, editorial board, and/or Publisher. The responsibility and liability of the materials lie with the author(s), and the editors, editorial board, and publisher disclaim any responsibility or liability for such materials.

Publication Permit
All published content is available online, free of charge at www.cocukenfeksiyonlari.org. Hard copies of the journal are sent to the members of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization Association free of charge. Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization Association holds the international copyright of all content published in the journal. Applications for permission for print should be made to the Office of the Editor-in Chief.
